Did you ever wonder why the "golden rule" is called golden? First of all, remember that the rule is that we should treat other people as we would want to be treated ourselves. That is pretty hard to do sometimes, huh? Jesus explained it even further and said that he who is greatest is the one who is everyone's servant... That is even harder to do most of the time... You mean, I have to put myself LAST? Just think, you might have to let someone get ahead of you once in awhile on the highway (no road rage, ladies! LOL), or in the checkout lane at the grocery store, or at the deli case... It is the opposite of today's "me first" attitudes. Yes, as we discuss this, it is clear why the rule is so golden. Putting others first, caring about them getting ahead, caring about the feelings and needs of others...Hmmmm...I'd sure like to be treated that way. When someone treats me that way, I do feel so blessed. It is like getting the best treatment, almost like being treated like...well...uh...gold! Have a golden day out there!

My golden rule is to keep your nerves strong and healthy. This is quite difficult to do in the modern world since there are many stresses now. To support myself I take cbd honey sticks. This is an excellent herbal sedative. I only need a couple of drops on a difficult day to continue to remain calm in any situation.
