No "Do- Overs"?

I'm sure you've heard it said before that there are no "do-overs" in life... Once you've done something, it can't be taken back... That is the sad truth about this world, BUT, there IS some good news! God DOES give "do-overs"! He says in His word that
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:12
You know what that means... As far as it is from China to California...THAT is how far away you are from your mistakes or sins to Him, once you have asked His forgiveness! He says, "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember NO MORE." Hebrews 8:12 He knows what it means to forgive and forget! We often try to forgive the best we can, but we never seem to forget... Well, HE does!
In fact, God says that if you believe in His Son, Jesus, ask His forgiveness and enter into a relationship with Him, you become His child and you are changed. Don't miss this great news! He says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." II Corinthians 5:17.
If you are a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, you are no longer the same person. You get a new life! A do-over! I no longer have to think of or dwell on the mistakes of my past. The slate is wiped clean in God's eyes! He doesn't want to give us a "past" like the world tries to do... He wants to give us a "future"! I am so thankful for that!
