Chocolate Chip Cookies A recipe from a friend
2 1/4 C all-purpose flour 1/4 C sugar 1 tsp baking soda 1 pkg 3 oz. vanilla instant pudding 1 tsp salt 3/4 C packed brown sugar 1/2 C white Crisco 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 C butter flavor Crisco 2 Lg eggs 1 C semi sweet morsels 1 C chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, bak soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat white and yellow Crisco, sugar, instant pudding, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet for two minutes. Then remove to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
You can also substitute white choc chips and macadamia nuts. Do you have any cookie recipes you'd like to share?
